Group tickets are not available for this exhibition.

  • Persons with relevant Kyushu National Museum memberships

Visitors may also purchas e tickets from Lawson’s convenience stores (L-code: 82727), as well as from the ticketing counters on the first floor of the museum. To prevent overcro wding at the ticketing counters, we recommend that visitors purchase tickets prior to their visit.

Japan is an island nation surrounded by the sea, with seventy percent of its landmass covered by mountains and forests. This exhibition explores how living among such bountiful natural environments has influenced the intellectual and artistic pursuits of the peoples in Japan.
