Exchange Student Event 2020
Kyuhaku’s Inaugural Quiz Quest!

We still have vacancies for this event! Stop by our event booth on the day to register and take part. Please note that this is on a first-come-first-served basis.

Kyushu National Museum is back with its annual Exchange Student Event! Held every year on 3 November (Culture Day), this event offers current international students a glimpse into the museum’s halls for free. This year’s event is structured a little differently to previous years, and features a digital quiz based on the artefacts in our Cultural Exchange Exhibition Hall!

Participants will be provided a QR code to scan on the day, which will give them access to a quiz that can be completed on their smartphones at their own pace. There are prizes available for participants who complete the quiz! Registration can be done via the QR code at the bottom of the page, and closes 25 October 2020 (Sunday), so be sure to reserve a place if you’d like to join us at the museum that day! Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email from us.

Step 2: Swing by Kyushu National Museum on 3 November 2020 and visit the registration booth.

The registration booth will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beside the escalator on the fourth floor.
International students should bring their student cards for verification before entering the exhibition hall. JET Programme participants should bring a name card. Please note that we will not allow entry without verifying your identity.
Participants will receive an event sticker, as well as the quiz QR code at the registration booth. Be sure to display the sticker prominently on your sleeve, as that give you permission to use your smartphone in the exhibition space.

Step 3: Begin your quest into the Cultural Exchange Exhibition Hall!

Search for the artefacts mentioned in the quiz, and answer them as you make your way around the exhibition hall. Smartphone use has been specially approved for event participants only, so please be respectful of other regular visitors. You will not need to take photos of any displays to complete the quiz.
(Please note that photography is not permitted in exhibition rooms 2, 3, and 7.)

Step 4: Complete the quiz, return to the registration booth, and receive your prize upon finishing our event survey.

Our staff will be at the registration booth till 4 p.m. at the latest, so be sure to finish the quiz before then so that you can claim your prize.
