Respect for the Aged Day is a public holiday celebrated every year on the third Monday of September. It honors the elderly and their many years of service to society, and is also an occasion celebrating their longevity.

On 16 September (Mon, Public Holiday), Kyushu National Museum will offer free admission to the Cultural Exchange Exhibition Hall (4F). Please enjoy the museum with your family and friends on this special day.

All visitors are eligible for free admission.
