2024 Exchange Student Event
Adventure @ Kyuhaku
Here at Kyushu National Museum (Kyuhaku), our annual Exchange Student Event returns this year on Culture Day, 3 November (Sunday, Public Holiday). This year, embark on an exclusive Backyard Tour into the heart of our museum, join our interactive quiz for a chance to win some cuddly Kyuhaku-exclusive merch, and look forward to an introduction by researchers on our seasonal Feature Exhibitions! We hope that these three activities will give you a window of opportunity to learn more about the work that our museum does.

② Top Secret! Museum Backyard Tour (13:20～14:40・80 minutes)
③ Attack of the Belly Bugs! Kyuhaku Quiz (15:00～15:20・20 minutes)
④ Hear, hear! Researchers on Feature Exhibitions (15:25～15:40・15 minutes)
* Please note that participants will be split into two groups of 10 during program

② Top Secret! Museum Backyard Tour (80 minutes)
Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a museum? Embark on an exclusive Backyard Tour into the heart of our museum. Learn the secrets behind our Storage and Conservation Area, truckyard and more, and experience first-hand the effort that goes into the protection of artifacts and cultural properties here at Kyushu National Museum.
③ Attack of the Belly Bugs! Kyuhaku Quiz (20 minutes)
Have you seen our adorable Belly Bugs? Test your Kyuhaku knowledge with this 10-question quiz. Top scorers in our quiz stand to win some cuddly original Kyuhaku merchandise. Will you prevail?
④ Hear, hear! Researchers on Feature Exhibitions (15 minutes)
Hear from our researchers on our seasonal Feature Exhibitions “Tracing the Mongolian Invasion”, and “The Treasures of Hitoyoshi Kuma”! Afterwards, take your time viewing the wonders on display in the Cultural Exchange Exhibition Hall.
